Professional Experience and Background:

Dan Carrigan is an Organizational Development Consultant with 20 years experience as an HR/ OD practitioner, manager, and consultant. He has worked with clients in retail, distribution, transportation, information technology, financial services, insurance, construction services, pharmacy, medical technology, long term care, human services, wood products, E-Commerce, theater and education. His work currently focuses on building individual, group, and organizational capabilities to effectively change and grow. This work includes developing and mentoring leaders, consultants, trainers, and HR/OD practitioners.

His experience includes management positions with Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies in distribution, transportation, e-commerce, and human resources.

He holds degrees from Saint Francis Xavier University (Batchelor of Arts, Political Science) and the University of Maine (Masters in Public Administration), where he was an Atlantic Provinces Fellow. In addition, Dan holds a Trainer Certificate from the NTL Institute. Dan is an active professional member of the NTL Institute, where he currently staffs the Institute’s highly regarded “Interpersonal Skills for Leadership Success” workshop, and is an Associate of the Gestalt International Study Center. He is a Certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator Practitioner and holds several other certifications, including the Leadership Effectiveness Analysis and the Predictive Index. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Theatre of Maine and Hannaford Associates Federal Credit Union. A native of Massachusetts, Dan resides in Portland, Maine.
