Professional Experience & Background:
Constance M. Savage, Ph.D. holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Ursuline College (Cleveland, OH), a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Colorado, and earned her doctorate in Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. She is an Assistant Professor in the Dauch College of Business and Economics at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio where she is lead professor for organizational development and teaches organizational development, organizational behavior and management courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. In addition, she holds the Burton D. Morgan Chair of Free Enterprise at Ashland University. She has ten years experience in higher education at the college and university levels and has also served as an adjunct faculty member. In addition, she is a member of the editorial review board for Nursing Economic$.
She has over 20 years’ experience in organizational and management development, with over 11 years dedicated to working in and with healthcare organizations. As a business owner who has also been a manager, an educator and an internal consultant in a variety of organizations, Constance brings a unique blend of the pragmatic and the theoretical to her clients.
Constance’s areas of consulting expertise are organizational analysis, managing planned change, team development, customer service and performance management. As an educator and trainer she has extensive experience in executive coaching, leadership and management development, interpersonal communications skills, and personal development. She is deeply committed to the belief that an organization’s most valuable resource is its people and works with businesses to enhance the human side of enterprise. Constance also works as a life strategist with individuals coaching them in creating meaningful balance between their unique work and life issues.
