Professional Experience & Background:
Dr. De’Borah A. Donald is a nine year city employee. Currently a Human Resource Specialist II which encompasses: Lead Trainer , Design Specialist and the Co-Coordinator of the Workplace Violence Prevention Program for the City of Detroit from 1999 to the present. She has more than seventeen years of public school classroom teaching experience and has held faculty positions with the University of Phoenix, Davenport University and the Detroit College of Business. She has an extensive training and development background that includes facilitator certification for Franklin Covey and Kaset International. In March 2006, Dr. Donald received Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards certification.
Dr. Donald holds three undergraduate degrees in General Studies, English, Social Studies and a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University. Dr. Donald graduated on September 27, 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee at the American Association of Christian Counselors World Conference receiving Marriage Counselor certification. On April 24, 2004, Mrs. Donald completed CISM– Critical Incident Stress Management Training Certification and has used the CISM format in speaking, debriefing and defusing with large community groups in the Detroit Metropolitan area since April 2004. May 2005, Mrs. Donald completed her doctoral degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Theology from Salisbury /Trinity University.
